  • The Sun of the Moon

    Kezel Jackson Cruickshank

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Sept. 13, 2018)
I too was guilty of mindlessly singing along to sinister dark stories which I thought was nothing but a pleasing rhythm. However, when we analyze some nursery rhymes it can be very shocking, violent and daunting with negative hidden themes. These topics are not appropriate for these young and susceptible minds. Being a mother of two children I would create my nursery rhyme collection Understanding how influential these nursery rhymes can be in spatial reasoning is important. Nursery rhymes like Jack and Jill, London Bridge,Humpty Dumpty among others need a rating when it comes to levels of violence. Generation after generation, these nursery rhymes are being published. As a mother and an educator I decided that something needs to be done and why not start that change with this book.

  • Little Bo Peep

    Priscilla Lamont

    Hardcover (Lincoln Children's Books, Feb. 21, 2012)
Little Bo Peep has lost her sheep And doesn't know where to find them. You may think you know the story of Little Bo Peep and how she lost her sheep - but think again! Priscilla Lamont and the sheep relate what really happened that day on the farm. Little Bo Peep thought she would have some fun with her sheep, and tried to teach them the game of Hide and Seek. But the sheep just couldn't understand the rules and followed Bo Peep around - until finally they got the hang of the game, and then they all hid so well that no one could find them at all! The sheep were very pleased with themselves, and had a lovely day, but they were sorry that poor Bo Peep got the blame. This is a funny and delightful rhyming story based on the well-known nursery rhyme - the first title in the Nursery Rhyme Crimes series.
